Try and Should are two words that you need to take out of your everyday vocabulary. They are both words that have a negative energy to them, unless of course you are talking about Tries in Rugby.
Self Care is the most important that you need to do for yourself. Are you guilty of always putting yourself last on the list, to busy doing everything for everyone else?
How many of these reasons (excuses) resonant with you?; the kids need me, the partner needs me, the job takes up too much time, the home needs looking after, I am too tired, I can’t say no to anyone, I am too busy
Looking after yourself, it isn’t selfish, it’s necessary. Self Care can take many forms, from Physical through to Spiritual. If you don’t have balance in all areas of your life, then you will find that you will start to struggle, and/or get angry and resentful.
If you are stressed to the max, snappy at home, grumpy at work, you are feeling tearful, short tempered, keep injuring yourself , these are all signs that your life is out of balance and that you need to start doing some Self Care, quick smart, before you burn yourself out.
If you are carrying a physical injury, go see someone and get it seen too, asap, before it becomes a major problem.
If you are emotionally struggling, get help, talk to someone, don't let the Black Dog get you.
